About the position

The Program Manager will support the Data Governance Implementation Lead in coordinating the execution planning and delivery of data governance initiatives. This role involves managing JIRA status reporting, creating progress reports, and developing a comprehensive delivery roadmap while tracking actions, risks, issues, and dependencies. The Program Manager will drive the overall Data PMO in collaboration with various program teams and application teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Governance Implementation Lead in coordinating overall execution planning and delivery.
• Manage JIRA status reporting and create weekly and ad-hoc progress/status reports.
• Assist in the development of an end-to-end delivery roadmap and track open actions.
• Document risks, issues, and dependencies related to the project.
• Drive overall Data PMO in coordination with broader program teams and impacted Lines of Business (LOBs).
• Manage requirements gathering and testing for the digitization and automation of existing processes.

Requirements

• Understanding of data governance practices.
• Experience with metadata management and its role in supporting data governance.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Familiarity with data and associated business domain processes within financial services.
• Experience coordinating across business and technical stakeholders.
