About the position

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead all aspects of In-Flight communications (IFC) system installation on large commercial aircrafts. This role manages initial installations and subsequent upgrades as necessary. The role leads cross functional teams to deliver aircraft system design, installation, software development, supply chain delivery and final certification. The role is directly customer facing and requires a candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead aircraft satellite inflight connectivity system installation readiness and execution
  • Manage cross-functional teams including aircraft engineering, software development, certification, regulatory, quality, supply chain, and aircraft installation teams
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and manage actions, risks and issues to ensure on time delivery
  • Able to work in a global marketplace supporting a diverse set of customers with diverse cultures, time zones, and traditions
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with the ability to influence across all parts of the business
  • Evaluate current processes and systems, identifying opportunities to improve program performance and efficiency

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or other technical background - an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant program management experience
  • Proficient with project management software
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • This role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US person (this includes US citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee)
