About the position

The Program Manager will oversee and manage programs and activities within the Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and Space (CEW&S) division at HII, focusing on hardware/software engineering development and deployment for US government customers in the intelligence community. This role involves capturing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, developing budgets, and ensuring program objectives are met while fostering team performance and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program personnel to achieve technical and financial objectives.
  • Organize programs and activities in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Pursue and secure new business to expand the product line.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to write and submit reports.
  • Create and manage long-term goals for the programs.
  • Develop budgets and operating plans for the business area.
  • Create evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, whitepapers, and proposals as required.
  • Write program funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Manage a diverse team to meet customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and performance goals.
  • Implement changes to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Communicate transparently with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle.
  • Analyze program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Seek to increase revenue by identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or 12 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
