About the position

The Project Manager will oversee the field management of wireless telecom projects for multiple clients, ensuring the delivery of turn-key network build services. This role involves coordinating field activities, managing project budgets, and maintaining documentation to meet corporate and customer standards. The Project Manager will also engage with customers to provide updates and resolve issues, contributing to the overall success of the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned field resources and projects to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Develop and modify project plans and budgets for all assigned projects, ensuring accurate documentation is delivered.
  • Participate in internal deployment meetings to review job statuses and implement necessary changes for timely completion.
  • Provide customers with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Maintain accurate and complete files to deliver close-out documents to customers in a timely manner.
  • Create, assemble, and verify documentation for billing on Sage.
  • Understand project scope and customer service level agreements, managing to them effectively.
  • Document work outside of project scope and assist the Program Manager in creating change orders.
  • Collaborate effectively with a variety of personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the wireless telecom industry.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with QuickBase and Sage Software is strongly desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications project management.
  • Familiarity with Wireless Carriers databases is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a heavily matrixed organization and teams.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Capability to diagnose workflow problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
