About the position

Dawson is seeking a Program Manager to support the Army National Guard family readiness training and services. This role involves developing training policies, certifying Military Family Readiness Systems across states, and providing logistical support. The position is based in Arlington, VA, with travel required to all 54 states and territories.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Task Management Tool (TMT) to provide input on tasks.
• Provide monthly reports on coordination, training, and logistical support status.
• Develop and implement tracking procedures for NG Military Family Readiness Certification and metrics.
• Conduct After-Action Reviews and prepare After-Action Reports.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Prepare and produce executive level information papers and reports utilizing data and provide analysis.
• Attend Joint Staff Executive Officer meetings.
• Coordinate and schedule onsite visits with state POCs.
• Liaise with representatives from the 54 States and territories.
• Coordinate teleconferences and webinars.

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution recognized by the Department of Education.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Ten years of management experience related to Army National Guard programs and policies (preferred).
• Five years of managerial experience with related Army National Guard (ARNG) programs and policies (required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior analytical skills, leadership, communication, influence, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, planning/resource management, and mastery of program/project tools and techniques.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
