About the position

The Program Manager will serve as Amentum's authorized interface with government leadership, providing overall leadership and guidance for a workforce of approximately 300 personnel. This role involves managing contractor personnel, overseeing technical efforts, and ensuring performance across all CONUS/OCONUS activities. The Program Manager is responsible for quality control, administration, and execution of tasks in accordance with government schedules, while also maintaining a task management application to support the contract's complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the authorized interface with government leadership.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance for a workforce of approximately 300 personnel.
  • Assign tasks to contractor personnel and supervise ongoing technical efforts.
  • Manage overall performance of contractor personnel, including subcontractors.
  • Conduct meetings and provide deliverables according to the Government-approved delivery schedule.
  • Create and maintain a task management application for contract support.
  • Oversee management and oversight of all CONUS/OCONUS activities.

Requirements

  • Employee of the prime contractor at the time of proposal submission with authority to commit the organization.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
  • Minimum of ten years' recent experience providing DoD program management in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Active Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for access to Top Secret (TS) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) at the time of proposal submission.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of five years' experience in one or more multi-Intelligence disciplines (SIGINT, HUMINT, CI, GEOINT, OSINT) in support of Cyber Operations, Information Operations, or Special Operations.
  • Five years' experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing methodologies and approaches for similar projects.
