About the position

The position is accountable for the overall execution of Modification activities within the organization. This includes developing and tracking the detailed program schedule and milestones, managing program requirements, scope, and budget, and performing continuous risk management. The role involves tracking and supporting Flight Test and aircraft modification activities, as well as coordinating with internal resources and stakeholders such as engineering, operations, quality, logistics, contracts, and finance during program execution. Additionally, the position requires managing external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely execution of deliverables, acting as the face of the organization to external customers, and holding P&L oversight for the assigned program while being accountable for overall customer satisfaction. The individual will lead negotiations, proposal, and commercial impact phases for contractual change management throughout the program execution, ensuring milestones are achieved per the committed schedule and budget. The role also involves preparing and leading weekly program reviews, coordinating payment/invoicing, and managing program performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques while establishing and managing program key performance indices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track the detailed program schedule and milestones
• Track program requirements, scope, budget
• Perform continuous risk management
• Track and support Flight Test and aircraft modification activities
• Track and support aircraft deliveries as required
• Coordinate with internal resources/stakeholders such as engineering, operations, quality, logistics, contracts and finance during program execution
• Manage external stakeholders/suppliers to ensure timely execution of deliverables
• Act as the face of the organization to external customers
• Hold P&L oversight for assigned program and accountable for overall customer satisfaction
• Lead negotiations, proposal and commercial impact phases for contractual change management throughout the program execution
• Ensure milestones are achieved per committed schedule and budget - ensuring proactive risk assessment and contingency management
• Maintain intimate knowledge of contractual requirements for assigned program and ensure timely execution and administration to remain in compliance with such requirements
• Prepare and lead weekly Program reviews; including internal executive reviews and external customer reviews
• Coordinate payment/invoicing
• Manage program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Establish and manage program key performance indices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in program management or equivalent experience
• Team player with initiative and excellent communication skills
• Experience interfacing with operations
• Excellent customer-facing skills and experience
• Ability to effectively negotiate in-line with business objectives
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of policies and processes
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment
• Knowledge of CGR, ITAR and previous experience in government and military flight operations exposure would be considered an asset
• Willingness to travel (post-Covid) and work extended hours when required
• Eligibility to view and handle CGR material and ability to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance (as required)
• Experience with supplier management.
