About the position

The Program Manager at Franciscan Outreach is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of programs aimed at supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. This role involves providing consultation to staff, crisis intervention, and ensuring compliance with agency and funder requirements. The Program Manager supervises staff and interns, promotes effective collaboration, and implements participant-centered programming, all while embodying the values of Franciscan Outreach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Promote adherence to policies and procedures among program staff.
• Consult with staff on guest-related concerns and support service delivery.
• Manage case loads and work plans of assigned staff, acting as backup as needed.
• Provide management for tasks including intake, assessment, and service planning.
• Model and promote the use of frameworks such as Housing First and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Facilitate mediation for issues between guests and service providers.
• Address guest grievances according to agency policies.
• Create intervention plans for guests at risk of eviction.
• Facilitate team meetings and provide on-call assistance for emergencies.
• Ensure accurate and timely outcome reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, Education, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years of case management experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience required; experience supervising a remote team preferred.
• Ability to lift approximately 20lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using Motivational Interviewing strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and insurance.
