About the position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and manage contracts and staff for a government customer in Rock Island, IL. This role involves providing guidance on IT best practices, ensuring compliance with military regulations, and managing project deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and management for contract and staff.
  • Advise and assist the government organization on IT best practices.
  • Track projects and provide detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Research and investigate new or improved IT products and practices, presenting recommendations to government staff.
  • Collaborate with the COR and KO to meet mission requirements.
  • Negotiate and approve contract modifications and ensure compliance with contract performance.
  • Ensure adherence to military regulations affecting work operations.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant discipline, or 10-15 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Information Assurance Manager (IAM) level III (CISM, CISSP, CCISO).
  • Experience with project tracking and providing detailed work plans and schedules.
  • Knowledge of FAR regulations and Department of Defense (DoD) network security requirements.
  • Knowledge of network design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with help desk support and operation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with management.
