The APQP Program Manager role at CORE Services Inc. is a senior-level position focused on leading program management initiatives from prototype development to production in the automotive manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering and program management expertise to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications while fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of program management, from prototype to customer launch.
- Manage engineering changes, ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Resolve quality concerns promptly and ensure up-to-date documentation.
- Coordinate communication between production, quality, engineering, and tool room departments.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, offering technical support and tracking correspondence.
- Present cost-saving opportunities and monitor program progress and budgets.
- Lead and mentor Program Managers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Design, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in engineering, tooling, or program management; 5+ years in a supervisory role in manufacturing, preferably automotive.
- Knowledge in SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, APQP, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
