About the position

Our work depends on an on-site Program Manager joining our team to help support the U.S. Army Product Director Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PD ALTESS) at Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, Virginia. As the Program Manager, you are supporting one of the Army's premier technology services responsible for supporting users around the world. Key aspects of performance are data security, innovation solution, and provide best-in-class customer service to Joint and Department of Defense (DoD) warfighters. A key attribute is the ability to collaborate with the ALTESS, PEO-Enterprise, and DoD Government representatives to enable mission readiness and success for the critical applications at the point of need. As the Program Manager for ALTESS, you will play a critical role in modernizing applications to optimize operations and sustainment in the cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ALTESS workforce to Assess, Remediate, Modernize, Migrate and Manage Applications and Systems in the cloud and at on premise data centers.
  • Manage large scale Information Technology contracts of similar size (over 100 FTEs or $75M in TCV) and scope.
  • Oversee IT Service Operations and Delivery, 24/7 Service Desk Operations, Customer Training, Data Center Operations, Network and System Administration, Cyber-Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Operations.
  • Handle Hardware/Software Integration and Migration, Requirements Definition and Management, Service Level Management, Process Design and Management, Business Management, Application Services and Modernization, Acquisitions and Procurements, Infrastructure Services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in Program Management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to develop and present complex information to senior Government officials.
  • Ability to manage large scale Information Technology contracts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites.
  • Experience with current and emerging network and infrastructure management technologies and business practices.
