About the position

The IT Program Manager at Computer World Services Corporation (CWS) is responsible for the day-to-day management of contract support operations, overseeing multiple projects and personnel across various locations. This role involves organizing, directing, and coordinating all contract support activities while ensuring that technical requirements are met. The Program Manager will work closely with customers to define communication system and equipment requirements, providing leadership and guidance to technical staff and ensuring quality through structured reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical/management leadership for all PWS requirements.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project requirements.
• Directs and controls activities for a client, ensuring financial management and staffing meet technical requirements.
• Interacts with clients for negotiations and interfaces with senior management.
• Plans, initiates, and manages IT projects, guiding the work of technical staff.
• Serves as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage.
• Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
• May supervise others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or business-related programs.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in managing IT programs.
• Working knowledge and experience managing technology, software, and IT infrastructure programs.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Possession of an Agile project management certification (e.g., PMP).
• Top Secret security clearance.
