About the position

The Program Manager at ESI Motion will lead programs, establish and maintain client relationships, and support sales proposals. This role is crucial for the organization, offering significant upward potential, and involves collaboration with various departments. The ideal candidate will have extensive program management experience in the aerospace or defense sectors, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and establish rapport with clients.
• Support sales proposals and coordinate multiple programs.
• Manage budgets for cost-plus and firm fixed-price contracts.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and schedules using MS Project.
• Manage change requests and negotiate new contracts.
• Coordinate and prioritize internal resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop presentations for design reviews including Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).
• Anticipate client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Create action and risk logs and drive actions to completion.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, sponsors, and project stakeholders tactfully.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline with a GPA > 3.2 from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of program management experience in aerospace or defense environments.
• Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (PMBOK); PMM certification is a plus.
• Experience in engineering and manufacturing processes for electromechanical components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
