About the position

The Program Manager position at AHCCCS involves overseeing the Case Management Unit within the Division of Managed Care Services. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality care for members of the ALTCS program. The Program Manager will manage program development, monitor contractor performance, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing case management compliance by the ALTCS Program contractors.
• Maintain regulatory active oversight of the ALTCS Program contractors and Inter-Governmental Agreements (IGAs).
• Collaborate with DFSM on the ALTCS Tribal Program.
• Develop programs, initiatives, processes, and improvements for quality care coordination and case management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management policy.
• Provide technical assistance and ongoing training to ALTCS Program contractors.
• Ensure oversight of specialized programs, including Behavioral Health Reinsurance and Out-of-State placements.
• Supervise, direct activities, and monitor/evaluate staff.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers on the overall ALTCS program.

Requirements

• Four years of professional experience related to health programs, including experience in interviews and investigations.
• Two plus years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare Federal Regulations, State Statute and Rule, and policies applicable to the ALTCS and other AHCCCS programs.

Nice-to-haves
