About the position

Gen3 Technology Consulting is seeking a talented Program Manager to support program management for federal clients. This role involves overseeing program tasks from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with program goals, and managing team collaboration. The Program Manager will be responsible for developing detailed task plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated program tasks from initiation through completion
• Develop detailed task plans including schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and metrics
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure task alignment with overall program goals
• Monitor task progress and performance, oversee scope and schedule management, and take corrective actions
• Manage and guide task team members, fostering collaboration and communication
• Escalate issues and risks to senior management and support mitigation efforts
• Prepare regular task updates and detailed progress reports
• Ensure tasks comply with all regulatory standards and requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in government contracts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Proficiency in using project management software tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree required in a related field like Business or IT
• PMP or CAPM certification is a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies, especially federal financial agencies i.e. IRS or Treasury, is highly desired.
