About the position

The Boulder Zen Center is seeking a part-time Program Manager to oversee various programs and digital content initiatives. This role is crucial for managing the Center's communication and outreach efforts, ensuring effective coordination between the Guiding Teacher, Practice Leadership, and the community. The Program Manager will handle registrations, digital marketing, and maintain the Center's online presence through various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and volunteers
• Manage registrations and email communication
• Oversee digital marketing and social media efforts
• Curate and update online content including the website, podcast, and YouTube channel
• Maintain file systems and customer data

Requirements

• High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and follow-through
• Ability to handle multiple projects with varying time frames
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Effective writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in software and online tools, including Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google Docs, online schedulers, and databases
• Ability to work with various file types, including images, audio, and video
• Basic graphic design skills
• Experience with website building and mass emailing tools
• Familiarity with audio and video recording and editing software is a plus
• Experience in creating social media content and advertising
• Collaborative attitude to work with the team and Guiding Teacher
