About the position

The Program Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a strategic change program within the Global Content Operations (GCO) transformation portfolio. This role focuses on managing dependencies, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. The Program Manager will be responsible for program planning, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, while also acting as a Project Manager to keep projects on track. This position is crucial for driving collaboration across functions and supporting the execution of cross-platform promotions in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders to identify, plan, execute, and communicate strategic change program objectives.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for program stakeholders, providing support and guidance throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, planning, and PMO activities across the change program.
  • Ensure regular status reporting across all projects and features, establishing proper controls for accurate status and proactive risk management.
  • Drive project execution plans across GCO and partner teams, ensuring clear communication of goals and objectives.
  • Lead ongoing risk and issue management activities, assessing and communicating program risks with appropriate mitigations planned.
  • Partner with operations and technology organizations to ensure proper documentation and prioritization of operating requirements.
  • Support business case development and program greenlight activities with GCO leadership and Finance for new projects.
  • Support program and project budgeting activities, benefits forecasting, and financial projections.

Requirements

  • 4 years leading significant operational and technology enabled synergy and revenue growth projects.
  • 4 years content operations experience at a global media and entertainment company.
  • Solid understanding of content distribution and windowing strategies related to content preparation and delivery timelines.
  • Excellent program and project management skills.
  • Excellent consultative, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills, including with senior business leaders.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in a fast-paced, global business environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Significant experience working directly with media/content operations teams.
  • Significant experience working directly with technology partners or developers in the media and entertainment industry.
  • A relevant qualification in Program or Project Management.
  • Experience with Program/Project Management tooling and software (e.g., Atlassian, Monday, MS Project).
