About the position

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple critical projects and initiatives within the Technology Delivery Management team at Morgan Stanley. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, managing complex programs across various technology teams, and driving efficient planning and execution. The candidate will utilize their program management expertise to navigate challenges, facilitate communication, and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex programs that span across multiple technology teams and applications, including schedule, budgets, and risk management.
  • Serve as a change agent to support teams and deliver exceptional output.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop solutions and advise business partners.
  • Provide status reporting to business partners and senior management.
  • Plan and manage relevant meetings with key stakeholders across dependencies, Business, and Technology teams.
  • Monitor team performance through metrics dashboards and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Follow Change Management Release processes for deployments and monitor deployments during releases.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities, making tactical and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of Program Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve impediments to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with diverse groups (tech, ops, business, etc.).
  • Financial management and forecasting skills.
  • Highly skilled in project management and Microsoft tools, including JIRA, Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with agile and deployment lifecycles and/or tracking and process management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in working on technology projects with successful delivery experience in the Financial Services domain.
