About the position

As a Program Manager at MyDefence, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical projects in the defense industry, focusing on counter-drone technology. This role involves managing projects from planning through delivery, ensuring compliance with defense regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be the primary point of contact for defense contractors and government agencies, guiding programs from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute defense programs from planning through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and implement program strategies that align with company goals.
• Oversee the execution of multiple projects within the program.
• Manage program risks, ensuring compliance with defense regulations.
• Provide clear, regular program progress and risks to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all program activities, changes, and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience in the defense industry.
• Deep understanding of government contracts, procurement processes, and defense regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP certification is a plus.
• 3 years of program management experience.
