About the position

The Program Manager (PM) will oversee the Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) Program Office at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic in Kings Bay, Georgia. This role involves total life cycle management of the program, focusing on facility maintenance, human resources, fiscal planning, and the implementation of the Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System (INWSS). The PM will conduct analytical studies to develop long-range work plans and assist in budget management and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the NWS Program Manager for overall life cycle management of the program.
• Oversee facility maintenance and construction related to the NWS program.
• Manage human resource and fiscal planning for the program.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System (INWSS).
• Conduct analytical studies and reviews to set annual and multi-year work plans and schedules.
• Assist in developing goals and objectives for the NWS program, addressing budget shortages and staffing needs.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance.
• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
