About the position

The Program Manager at Goodwill Industries of Central Texas will oversee the full lifecycle of a large-scale grant, managing financial, administrative, and programmatic aspects to ensure compliance with funding requirements. This role requires strong financial acumen and experience in grants management, with a focus on achieving project objectives through coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the grant, ensuring alignment with grantor's guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation and development of programs, analyzing operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the collection and documentation of student data including enrollments, completions, certifications, and employment.
  • Work closely with instructors and staff to monitor and report on students' progress related to attendance and academic standing.
  • Develop and manage the grant budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Prepare and submit all required financial and programmatic reports to the grantor on time.
  • Supervise program team to achieve operational and administrative goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in grant management, including large-scale grants or public funding.
  • Proven track record in overseeing multiple programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and managing revenue and expenses.
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing federal or state grants.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements for grant management.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar for data reporting.
  • Proficiency with modern software such as ERP systems and CRM tools.
