About the position

The Program Manager will oversee the BDDS Waiver Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program in Indiana, focusing on strategic management, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality services for individuals with disabilities. This role emphasizes community integration and enhancing the quality of life for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the BDDS Waiver program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of case managers, client coordinators, and support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing the BDDS Waiver program, staying updated on changes in legislation and best practices.
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals served by the program, ensuring client-centered and culturally competent services.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis to measure program effectiveness and outcomes, preparing reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and advocacy groups to enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the development and management of the program budget, monitoring expenditures and resource allocation.
  • Address and resolve issues or crises within the program, including client concerns and service delivery challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program management, particularly in Home and Community-Based Services or disability services.
  • Strong knowledge of the BDDS Waiver program and HCBS regulations in Indiana.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in using technology and software for program management and reporting.
