About the position

The Program Manager at Keytronic is responsible for managing the RFQ, NPI, and CPPT processes for assigned programs. This role involves administering contracts, leading cross-functional launch teams, and maintaining action item lists and NPI checklists. The Program Manager assesses critical areas of concern, recommends solutions, and communicates effectively across the organization to ensure successful program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple quotes and the Request for Quote (RFQ) process, understanding customer business needs and sales processes.
  • Communicate and recommend improvements to the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Customer Produced Product Transfer (CPPT) processes.
  • Assess risks, develop solutions, implement changes, and communicate responsibilities across the organization.
  • Administer assigned contracts and communicate customer concerns, recommending solutions.
  • Align the company's business model with the customer's business model.
  • Form and manage cross-functional launch teams, driving regular meetings to review progress.
  • Generate and track cross-functional action item lists and NPI checklist archives.
  • Maintain cash flow, program timelines, resource allocation, and milestone charts.
  • Generate, maintain, and publish weekly reports on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Communicate complex business and technical matters to all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and proficiency in managing timelines.
  • At least five years of experience in cross-functional project management or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical publications and reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, engineers, clients, and customers.
  • Applied engineering mathematics, statistics, and business and economic analysis skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese.
