About the position

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive program manager to drive the success of Gerber's factory-related project portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless execution of projects, from planning through to completion. As a program manager based in Portland, Oregon, you will collaborate across multiple functions and teams to deliver key initiatives and meet business goals. You'll be working closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Gerber's broader strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects across various teams, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion.
  • Work closely with factory leadership, the VP of supply chain, and project teams to define scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Oversee the budget and governance for key projects while managing risks and ensuring timely delivery against goals.
  • Collaborate with teams and external vendors to align project requirements and ensure smooth execution.
  • Regularly update leadership on project status, risks, and progress, ensuring transparency at all stages.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years in a project or program manager role with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Comfortable speaking on behalf of senior stakeholders and skilled at keeping teams and stakeholders updated regularly.
  • Strong experience with change management principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with tight timelines, ensuring attention to detail across all stages of execution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and SCRUM methodology is a plus.
