About the position

The Program Manager at KeyBank is responsible for managing a set of interrelated projects and ongoing operations to achieve common business objectives. This role requires strong business acumen, critical thinking, and relationship management skills to oversee cross-functional project requirements, resource planning, financial management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication. The Program Manager will work closely with Project Managers to ensure project success and report metrics to program owners and business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a set of interrelated projects and ongoing operations to deliver against business objectives.
  • Oversee cross-functional project-level or program-level requirements and scope.
  • Plan resources, finances, and benefit realization for projects.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and escalate key program risks and issues.
  • Develop and grow partnerships with senior functional managers to prioritize projects.
  • Support business case development and project registration/consolidation/prioritization.
  • Define and manage program scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop integrated program plans and track/report program milestones.
  • Estimate resources needed to achieve program goals and manage vendor performance.
  • Draft and submit program budget proposals and conduct variance reporting.
  • Identify, track, escalate, and resolve issue conflicts and manage dependencies.
  • Lead communication planning, execution, and reporting with program team members.
  • Support development of change management planning and implementation.
  • Manage documentation and knowledge transfer to business functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of complex project or program management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Change Management certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience in Financial services, including Lending and Collections (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $115,000 to $155,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.
  • Deferred incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.
