About the position

The Program Manager at AllClear Aerospace & Defense is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of assigned programs, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule performance. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, directing program resources to deliver high-quality products and services on time and competitively. The Program Manager will also guide continuous improvement initiatives and support business growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity that reduce cost and rework.
  • Formulate and recommend policies and programs that guide the program in maintaining and improving its competitive position.
  • Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
  • Act as primary customer contact for assigned program activities, leading program review sessions with customers.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions.
  • Support annual strategic planning efforts for the business.
  • Guide continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Identify and respond to program challenges and support solutions.
  • Support the development of new business growth strategies, including kick-off meetings, expectations, and timeline.
  • Coordinate responses to customer action items.
  • Supervise the appropriate use of all resources allocated to the program.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required.
  • Graduate degree in business (MBA) or management preferred.
  • Three to five years of progressive contract management and/or legal experience preferred.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace or Defense industry required.
  • Proposal Management process competence, including cost, schedule, risk, and go/no-go decision making.
  • Ability to understand and influence cross-functional and cross-business units.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with US Government logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
