About the position

The Program Manager at Saliense is responsible for overseeing and managing various projects related to critical infrastructure protection. This role serves as the primary point of contact for work performed under the contract, ensuring effective planning, direction, and coordination of cross-functional team activities from project initiation to operational stages. The Program Manager will also provide strategic planning, leadership, and quality assurance while maintaining technical and financial reports to demonstrate project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract work.
  • Oversee and manage various projects related to critical infrastructure protection.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate cross-functional team activities.
  • Review and evaluate current program operations and assist in developing leadership systems.
  • Develop and carry out strategic planning activities.
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show project progress.
  • Organize and delegate responsibilities to subordinates.
  • Monitor and review project/program economics including costs and operational budgets.
  • Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key program criteria.
  • Oversee the budget, submit monthly reports and invoices, and provide quality control of technical deliverables.
  • Manage staff and delegate internal work assignments.
  • Coordinate financial, contractual, technical, and administrative issues with relevant parties.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional experience supporting federal customers.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting sector risk management agencies (SRMAs).
  • Direct experience as a manager for a small-mid size team with multi-functional staff.
  • Hands-on experience with strategic planning, facilitation services, sector outreach, and performance management and assessments.
  • Foundational domain knowledge regarding federal and critical infrastructure cybersecurity.
  • Ability to be on-site in Arlington, VA with little notice roughly once every 1-2 weeks.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Active PMP certification.
