About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Surveillance Solutions business in Van Nuys, CA. This role involves managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs from inception to completion, ensuring that all resources are available to support program execution while meeting customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • 6 plus years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, and/or Program Management in a DoD environment.
  • 6 plus years of experience developing proposals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integrated program scheduling.
  • Proficient with Earned Value Management processes.
  • PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of a program through all phases from inception to completion.
  • Direct the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Ensure that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are available to support the program.
  • Assist with defining program parameters or guiding internal research and development efforts in the assigned field.
  • Work with customers to determine needs, requirements, and new business opportunities.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
  • Oversee program execution to ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining/updating scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Gather and interpret customer requirements and collaborate across the extended enterprise to identify and acquire relevant assets/resources.
  • Identify risks and create opportunities to manage operational or market risks for a project or program.
  • Identify opportunities to expand sales to existing customers or sell programs to new customers.
