About the position

The Program Manager at ForKids Inc. is responsible for overseeing designated programs and geographical regions, ensuring effective service coordination and delivery to maintain housing stability for clients. This role involves monitoring daily operations, providing guidance, and acting as a liaison with community partners. The Program Manager also participates in program development, manages staff, and ensures compliance with grant guidelines and agency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective development and implementation of programs and services.
  • Complete client file reviews for professional documentation compliance.
  • Advise the Chief Operating Officer of major deficiencies.
  • Facilitate the client grievance process.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new programs.
  • Monitor assigned caseloads to maintain program capacity and eligibility.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Response team for efficient referral processes.
  • Implement best practices in service delivery for families in poverty.
  • Facilitate storage and distribution of in-kind donations.
  • Monitor new leases and coordinate unit turnover processes.
  • Act as site liaison for facility needs and community tours.
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate financial tracking of program expenditures and compliance with budget.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection for grant reports and evaluations.
  • Engage in community development and fundraising activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a social services related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in case management or related field.
  • Supervisory and/or project management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention and family case management.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous case files and track data accurately.

  • Experience in community-based family service programs.
  • Knowledge of child development and positive parenting strategies.
  • Familiarity with conflict resolution strategies.
