About the position

The Program Manager at Amphenol TCS will oversee various projects, including global product transfers, New Product Introductions (NPI), and cost optimization initiatives. This role involves managing project milestones, ensuring design and manufacturing deliverables meet expectations, and leading cross-functional teams across different time zones. The Program Manager will be responsible for regular status and metrics reporting, maintaining project schedules, and adhering to budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the project team in completing all project phases, deliverables, and activities.
• Drive project plans to ensure time frame, technical & cost requirements, and ensure project team remains within budget, quality, and schedule agreements.
• Ensure common understanding within the project team regarding objectives, goals, and timing.
• Manage communications, activities, and interactions between cross-functional teams in different regions.
• Coordinate and drive schedule for NPI and Mass Production builds with suppliers.
• Manage phase in/out plans for products across suppliers.
• Oversee all project activities and decision-making forums between project gate reviews.
• Regularly report on program quality, status, timelines, and costs to senior management.
• Minimize exposure and risk to projects through contingency planning and mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years related experience or Master's degree with 8 years.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Project.
• Experience in manufacturing or related environment, contract manufacturing a plus.
• Experience in managing multiple work streams and competing priorities.
• Strong financial skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Experience with SAP and Business Objects is a plus.
