About the position

The Enterprise ERP Program Manager will lead multiple complex strategic programs and small-scale portfolios related to the implementation of a full-cycle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet defined scopes, while also providing oversight and direction to project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for ERP implementation.
  • Monitoring dependencies across multiple interrelated projects, including vendor tasks.
  • Providing analysis, forecasting, and modeling using the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.
  • Gathering and reporting consolidated program, portfolio, and project status and financial information to leadership.
  • Providing oversight and leadership to ensure programs are completed on time, on budget, and within defined scope.
  • Monitoring benefits realization and performing analysis if KPIs are not meeting targets.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in project and program management.
  • Directing the work of team members and external parties on associated projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience managing interdependencies between related projects.
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience with information analysis, resource and capacity planning, and budgeting.
  • Experience within a formalized Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Exceptional skills with the MS Office suite: Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising resources on complex projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP integration strategies and methodologies.
  • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies during ERP implementations.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP modules and functionalities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including consultants and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficient in process mapping and documentation tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with full-cycle ERP implementation projects for healthcare organizations.
  • Experience using robust PPM tools (e.g., Planview, Clarity).
  • Knowledge of hospital operational processes (e.g., supply chain, finance, clinical).
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting practices in healthcare or non-profit settings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
