About The Position

The Program Manager at Sisu Youth Org is responsible for overseeing housing programs aimed at supporting unhoused transition-age youth in Oklahoma City. This role involves managing staff, coordinating operations, and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services. The Program Manager will lead a team, develop program policies, and represent Sisu in the community, all while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for both staff and clients.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in a related line of work, including homeless services, program management, youth programming, or property management.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing staff, logistics, budgets, and relationships.
  • Passion for disadvantaged youth with a history of trauma.
  • Experience with youth, LGBTQ+, homeless populations, mental health, social services, or substance use recovery preferred.
  • Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in the use of Google workspace, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of resources and willingness to research and learn new programs and initiatives.
  • Must take initiative and be self-driven.
  • Experience with HMIS and/or data reporting software.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, schedule, lead, discipline, and coach frontline staff, housing case managers, and housing PRSS.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Sisu's housing programs, including managing landlord relationships and apartment leases.
  • Ensure Sisu programs provide safe, clean, respectful, and professional environments for clients, staff, and volunteers.
  • Lead the development and implementation of processes that create equity and consistency in Sisu programming.
  • Oversee the implementation and continual updating of program policies and procedures.
  • Represent Sisu to the community with professionalism and commitment to enhancing the organization's community profile.
  • Attend all assigned community meetings on behalf of Sisu.
  • Oversee professional development programs to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of staff.
  • Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements across all sites.
  • Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organizational performance standards.
  • Coordinate with outside service providers, community partners, and groups as needed.
  • Collaborate with fundraising staff to ensure grants and other materials align with program goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Sisu leadership team on organizational direction and growth, program development, and continuous quality improvements.
  • Research and implement evidence-based programming to further the growth and development of services for Sisu clients.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of program data for monitoring quality and effectiveness across all Sisu services.
  • Provide program evaluation, outcomes, statistics, and reports to the Executive Director.
  • Participate in on-call rotations with leadership staff.
