About The Position

The Program Manager will direct, lead, and supervise operational efforts and functions of employees within a location/site to achieve financial and growth goals. The role involves fostering a safe working environment that promotes customer service and motivates employees to surpass customer expectations. The Program Manager will be the main customer contact for key accounts or multiple accounts, ensuring customer needs are addressed by communicating with tkIS Management and requesting necessary resources. The position requires proactive problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement while maintaining a safety-first workplace.

Requirements

  • At least four (4) years of experience working with TQM, ISO 900 2000.
  • Experience in a safety-focused leadership role managing at least 75 employees for at least five (5) years, preferably in a manufacturing environment or automotive.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Strategic time management skills.
  • Team building experience and leading large teams.
  • Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email software.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, lead, and supervise operational efforts and functions of employees.
  • Ensure customer needs are addressed by communicating with tkIS Management.
  • Create a safe environment to attract and motivate employees.
  • Proactive problem solving using established methods such as 5Y, WHY, and AD.
  • Act as an advisor on the overall quality of customer relationships.
  • Communicate with internal company Senior Management and Customer Leadership.
  • Define issues and tasks, schedule, coordinate, and elicit cooperation from teams.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with customers, addressing issues efficiently.
  • Manage projects as needed to achieve company goals.
  • Drive continuous improvements while maintaining a safety-first workplace.
  • Provide cross-functional assistance in completing necessary projects.
  • Coordinate team activities in planning, problem solving, decision making, and risk management.
