About the position

The Program Manager at the Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center is responsible for leading and managing an Expanded Learning Program. This role involves operational oversight, ensuring compliance with various regulations, and collaborating with the Coordinator to achieve program goals. The Program Manager will supervise daily operations, manage the program budget, and foster partnerships to support the Center's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, management, and direction to staff at a school site.
  • Communicate regularly with the Coordinator regarding program operations and compliance.
  • Manage programs to meet goals related to enrollment, retention, and family satisfaction.
  • Build collaborative partnerships essential to the Center's strategic plan.
  • Ensure financial goals are met, including expenses and payroll management.
  • Engage stakeholders in the after school program to promote youth success.
  • Report any high-risk employee/student issues to the Coordinator promptly.
  • Make recommendations for annual plans and fiscal budgets for programs.
  • Assist in identifying potential future leaders within the Center.
  • Submit required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of employees.
  • Monitor maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure workspaces are clean and well-maintained.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Implement Human Resources policies consistently and fairly.

Requirements

  • Preferred bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 1 year of experience in youth development or as a Team Leader.
  • Demonstrated success in fiscal management.
  • Ability to manage a results-oriented team.
  • Effectiveness in fostering collaboration and providing dynamic leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with local communities and external groups.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
