About the position

The Program Manager will serve as the Level I Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Contracted Air Services (CAS) program under PMA-226 in the Office of the Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft. This role involves planning, executing, and managing training and evaluation support initiatives, ensuring alignment with Navy and Marine Corps mission objectives, overseeing budgeting and resource allocation, and providing briefings and reports to key interface groups.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Level I IPT lead for the Contracted Air Services (CAS) program.
  • Plan, execute, and manage training and evaluation support initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for CAS activities.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to fiscal guidelines.
  • Provide briefings and reports to key interface groups, synthesizing fleet requirements into actionable products and services.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading an Integrated Program Team (IPT) in providing program management and risk management support for aircraft systems and/or subsystems.
  • Experience in planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial control for the program.
