About the position
The Program Manager is responsible for leading a team of Direct Support Professionals who assist individuals with disabilities. This role emphasizes creating a positive and supportive environment within a group home, ensuring that all team members contribute and feel valued. The Program Manager oversees the operation of the group home, including maintenance coordination, safety standards, budgeting, and staff management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Direct Support Professionals in supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Create a positive and supportive teamwork environment within the group home.
- Oversee the operation of the group home, including maintenance and safety standards.
- Manage budgeting and staff-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record.
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete all required background clearances.
