About the position

The Program Manager will oversee the Roseland Home Visiting and Doulas team within the Pregnancy and Parenting Programs at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. This role involves managing staff, ensuring program quality, and maintaining partnerships to promote maternal health equity. The Program Manager will also be responsible for budget oversight and administrative tasks to ensure the program's effectiveness and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Roseland Home Visiting and Doulas team, including recruiting, training, and supervising program staff.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of team performance and client satisfaction.
  • Align program outcomes with funders' requirements and address conflicts proactively.
  • Review statistical data with program directors to ensure quality service and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet programmatic needs, including working weekends.
  • Ensure home visitors implement evidence-based curriculum effectively during visits.
  • Equip doulas to provide high-quality emotional and physical support to participants.
  • Develop and facilitate community-building activities in collaboration with team members.
  • Stay updated on maternal health trends and incorporate evidence-based practices into programs.
  • Foster outreach with stakeholders to promote maternal health equity and optimize service delivery.
  • Oversee program budget planning and expense management in partnership with the finance team.
  • Ensure accurate monthly reporting of program data for strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the Institutional Advancement team to prepare proposals and reports.
  • Maintain accurate client files and database entries according to professional standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in community health, nursing, or a relevant area (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in community health, nursing, or a relevant area (minimum).
  • 2 years of Doula experience (minimum).
  • 4 years of Doula and home visitor experience (preferred).
  • DONA Certification (minimum).
  • DONA and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate (preferred).
