About the position
The Senior People's Republic of China (PRC) Analytics Advisor at USAID is a critical role within the Bureau for Planning, Learning, and Resource Management. This position focuses on leading analytical initiatives related to PRC, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to inform policy formulation and strategic planning. The advisor will work closely with various USAID Bureaus and Missions to provide tailored analytical support and produce high-quality data resources that guide development and humanitarian policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead PRC analytical initiatives within the Analytics Team.
- Serve as a technical expert in advanced data analysis techniques related to PRC.
- Foster data-informed policy formulation and strategic planning.
- Produce Agency-level data resources for USAID.
- Provide tailored analytical support to USAID Bureaus and Missions.
Requirements
- Extensive subject matter expertise in advanced data analysis techniques.
- Strong knowledge of PRC political and social science.
- Ability to produce high-quality contextual data for policy formulation.
- Experience in regional and country-level strategic planning.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with USAID or similar international development organizations.
- Familiarity with humanitarian policy planning and coordination.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $99,700 - $146,413 annually.
- Time-limited appointment not to exceed four years.
