About the position

CACI has a career opportunity for an experienced, highly skilled and organized Program Operations Specialist to join our Corporate Business Information Systems team. The successful candidate will support program leadership to fulfill a variety of operations tasks related to the team's mission within the Agency. This role is critical in ensuring that the administrative and operational needs of the program are met efficiently and effectively. The Program Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to management, acting as a senior assistant to the Program Manager, and facilitating meeting attendance while tracking deliverables. The position encompasses a broad cross-section of business administration functions across all operations of the organization, including managing or performing finance, budget, HR, and facilities responsibilities. Candidates may provide professional administrative expertise by coordinating, researching, recommending, and implementing overall business administrative initiatives. Responsibilities include email follow-up, meeting scheduling, preparing budgeting summaries, project schedules, and analysis of information for function. The specialist will anticipate the administrative needs of the department to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and act as the primary point of contact for administrative issues for the Program and CACI. In addition, the Program Operations Specialist will initiate process improvements related to administrative responsibilities, create a wide variety of often complex documents such as reports, spreadsheets, and presentations, and may compose first drafts of documents. The role also involves making occasional travel arrangements, processing travel expense report forms and check requests, managing logistics for meetings, conferences, trainings, and group events, and providing event management support. The specialist will attend designated meetings and may serve as a department representative at these meetings, as well as research, price, and purchase equipment and office supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to management.
  • Serve as senior assistant to Program Manager, facilitating meeting attendance and tracking deliverables.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience as an executive administrator or operations specialist.
  • Resourceful in getting tasks done through multi-tasking and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and possess the initiative to address them.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Superior skills in Microsoft Office.
