About the position

The Program Operations Supervisor II is responsible for the overall day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and the operations of a program or unit at Tarzana Treatment Center. This role includes overseeing patient activities, ensuring staff responsibilities align with patient functions, and implementing the treatment philosophy of the organization. The supervisor will also engage in staff recruitment, performance reviews, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned staff and program/unit activities.
• Ensure staff and patient safety through oversight of physical plant maintenance functions.
• Conduct regular chart audits and maintain documentation in accordance with TTC policies and external regulations.
• Participate in the development and submission of various reporting requirements.
• Expand network of referral resources through outreach activities.
• Attend in-service training and educational workshops.
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding patient and staff behavior and progress.
• Model professional behavior and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Conduct performance evaluations of interns and staff as required.
• Participate in community events and outreach on behalf of TTC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• State approved Counseling Certificate.
• Approximately 4 years of supervisory experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of legal standards pertaining to professional practice.
