About the position
The Program Planning & Control Analyst III at Torch Technologies is responsible for supporting the Program Control Department by managing budgeting, planning, tracking, and financial analysis tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can handle multiple tasks and priorities while participating in project planning, cost tracking, and variance analysis. The analyst will also be involved in the development of budgets, review of purchase orders, and pricing of customer proposals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects.
- Develop budgets that establish cost/schedule baselines.
- Track project costs and commitments, and monitor performance against the baseline with variance analysis.
- Review and approve purchase orders and invoices for subcontractors and consultants.
- Responsible for pricing customer RFPs, ROMs, re-alignments, and program ETC/EAC.
- Develop and deliver customer financial CDRLs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline.
- 5-7 years of related experience in program planning/cost controls.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint and TM1/Focus Point software is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a final security clearance.
