About the position

The Program Project Coordinator at the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) plays a crucial role in supporting the operational functions of the Judicial Branch. This position involves administrative and clerical duties to assist department staff with various programs and projects, including the preparation, review, and maintenance of special projects. The coordinator will also be involved in the court improvement program, legal training, and family law initiatives, covering multiple counties in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Calendaring department resources.
• Facilitating and coordinating project meetings as requested.
• Assisting with submission of requested project management.
• Assisting with customer support inquiries.
• Working with staff to provide assistance on project activities.
• Writing and editing department artifacts including policies, procedures, and practices.
• Maintaining department documents, records, and repositories.
• Coordinating schedules and travel for conferences/meetings.
• Assisting with special projects, grants, and site visits.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• General knowledge of youth delinquency and the juvenile justice process.
• Interpersonal communication and writing skills.
• Experience in research and coordination of programming and resources for youth.
• Experience in program policy and practice implementation.
• Scheduling and organizing program-related meetings and events.
• Consultation, education, and training to staff and other groups.
