About the position

The Program/Project Management Support role at DCS Corp involves applying extensive knowledge and experience in acquisition program management to support the procurement activities of FMS and USAF systems. The position requires effective communication, planning, and analytical skills to ensure that programs meet their cost, schedule, and performance objectives. The role also includes developing acquisition reports, supporting program management reviews, and interfacing with various government organizations to resolve programmatic issues.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of acquisition program management to support procurement activities for FMS and USAF systems.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of acquisition programs using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and orally, providing quality acquisition and program documentation.
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition for weapon systems and associated equipment.
  • Formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support the development of acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
  • Assist in program management reviews and senior level meetings/reviews.
  • Evaluate implications of existing or proposed projects and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in planning and organizing program management activities and analyses efforts.
  • Develop and maintain schedules and metrics to track program status.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in program management or related field.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Current Secret Clearance is required.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and document program status and decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DoD and AF Program/Project analysis.
  • Familiarity with acquisition strategy planning and milestone tracking.
