About the position

As a Project Manager for the Material Reinvent Program at Solventum, you will play a crucial role in leading innovative projects in the medical device sector, particularly focusing on adhesives, chemicals, and materials. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met while adhering to regulatory standards. This position requires a blend of project management expertise and technical knowledge in medical devices, making a significant impact on healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Program VP in developing and implementing strategies for the supply continuity program post-separation from 3M.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget, aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Implement project management best practices, including project plans, risk management strategies, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct detailed needs analyses and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex material and chemical specifications into actionable project plans.
  • Be on-call as needed to address critical project issues or emergencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management and/or team leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with medical devices and FDA/ISO requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders by clarifying risks and opportunities.
  • Experience leading global cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction Process and executing Gate Reviews.
  • Experience in product engineering, chemicals, polymers, and adhesives.
  • Experience in manufacturing transfer to external manufacturing.
