This position is critical as the organization faces an increasing backlog and work throughput, necessitating that EBIT focuses on the right projects at the right time, adhering to schedules and budgets to support the growing business needs. The EBIT Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for managing and executing IT projects across the department, ensuring that all projects align with the strategic goals of the organization. The responsibilities of the EBIT PMO team encompass a wide range of project management activities. This includes project planning, which involves identifying candidate projects, categorizing and evaluating them, prioritizing the project portfolio, selecting projects for funding, determining funding strategies, and authorizing the selected projects. Additionally, the PMO establishes and provides guidance on project management processes and best practices tailored for EBIT. Performance monitoring is another key responsibility, which includes regular updates on project progress and the analysis of project metrics to ensure that all projects are on track and meeting their objectives.
