About the position

The Program Scheduler role at L3Harris Technologies involves supporting the development and maintenance of complex program schedules, including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis (EVA). The position requires interfacing with various program team elements to ensure the integration of schedules across functional groups, tracking plans, and conducting schedule analysis with moderate supervision. The role is essential for maintaining compliance with internal procedures and project control guidelines while contributing to the overall success of program management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW, and WBS.
  • Communicate within own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
  • Support regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise-wide resource needs.
  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and earned value management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Support the development and coordination of integrated master plan and integrated master schedule (IMP/IMS) using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; or a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Capability to support Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis.
  • Experience in supporting the creation and/or maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs.
  • Experience in creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables that reflect risk and status to program management.

  • Basic knowledge of Monte Carlo Risk Analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Program Management.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
  • Basic knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), Version 40, EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).
