About the position

The Program Security Representative (PSR) II is responsible for providing multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with various security policies and procedures, conducting assessments, and providing recommendations to enhance security measures. The PSR will also be involved in training, briefings, and monitoring security-related activities to safeguard sensitive information and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Ensure adherence to NISPOM, its Supplement, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Develop and execute policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
  • Conduct continuous assessments of security procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks related to security activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the Operations Security program.
  • Provide oversight and assistance to contractors and subordinate facilities.
  • Conduct briefings on security topics for government and civilian personnel.
  • Perform compliance reviews and document findings.
  • Monitor and track corrective actions from compliance reviews.
  • Notify management of pertinent security matters.
  • Investigate any loss or compromise of classified information and conduct damage assessments.
  • Coordinate with SAP security personnel for security education and awareness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in security support.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Experience with Special Access Programs (SAPs) is required.
  • Certifications such as CCNA Security, GICSP, and GSEC are preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
