About the position

The Program Services Coordinator at The INN Between plays a vital role in supporting various departments to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. This entry-level position involves managing transportation scheduling for residents, assisting with fund development efforts, coordinating meetings, and providing customer service at the reception. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and capable of multitasking to meet the diverse needs of staff, residents, donors, volunteers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the transportation calendar for residents, confirming appointments and arranging transportation as needed.
  • Assist the fund development team by creating and scheduling social media posts to promote the organization's mission and increase engagement.
  • Process donations, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking, and prepare acknowledgment letters for donors.
  • Support various departments in scheduling and coordinating meetings, including reserving and preparing meeting spaces.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors at the reception, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, providing information and assistance to residents, staff, donors, volunteers, and the public.
  • Assist departments with clerical tasks such as IT support, scanning/digital filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception and common area.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and build rapport with people.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media platforms is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar support role, ideally in a nonprofit or human services environment, is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
  • Customer-service oriented with a compassionate approach to helping diverse populations.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Experience in conflict management and resolution.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit operations and community service programs.
