Responsibilities

• Manage and implement financial and compliance processes for transit services.
• Work with the Public Transportation Division leadership to set priorities and develop unit plans and goals.
• Direct and manage a team of up to 14 staff members to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop solutions and resolve operational issues related to transit services.
• Lead and track federal and state grant execution, ensuring efficient fund utilization.
• Prepare budget requests and necessary documentation for financial audits.
• Negotiate and oversee required management actions for compliance policies.
• Coordinate program operations with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or three years of related experience.
• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience.
• Excellent skills in financial management and program oversight.
• General knowledge of Federal public transportation regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative problem solving and policy improvements.
• Skilled in leadership, management, mentoring, and supervisory roles.
