About the position

As a Program Supervisor at Devereux Children's Behavioral Health Center, you will impact the lives of children and youth by developing their independent living skills and social skills. You will work in a clinically based environment, ensuring that individuals are safe and in a therapeutic treatment environment. Your role will involve planning and implementing residential program services for assigned clients, supervising clients during program activities, and providing leadership and support to staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the individuals you are working with are safe and in a therapeutic treatment environment.
• Plan and implement residential program services for assigned clients.
• Assist in providing supervision of clients in program activities and leisure time.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline or 60 college credits with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline and three years direct care experience.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
• Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing; some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques - upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more.
• Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (S&PA) techniques.
